(2) complex contours-three-dimensional surface contours, draw three-dimensional graphics with automatic programming software (CAD/CAM) in the computer, set various corresponding parameters according to the type of surface, and automatically generate NC machining program.
The above two programming methods can basically meet the requirements of NC machining.
However, it is very difficult to process the outline of the function equation curve, because the early CNC system of the milling machine does not have the function of function operation, and the machining program of the function equation curve can not be compiled directly with G code, and the CAD/CAM software (lower version) usually does not have the function of inputting graphics directly from the equation.
So the cutting function equation curve outline, the usual method is: according to the drawing requirements, calculate the coordinates of each point on the curve, and then according to the calculated coordinate values with straight line or arc instruction code programming, manual input system for processing.
Characteristics of NC Machining Center.
The machining center is an efficient and high-precision CNC machine tool, and the workpiece can be processed in multiple processes in one clamp. at the same time, it is also equipped with a tool library and has the function of automatic tool change.
These rich functions of the machining center determine the complexity of the machining center programming.
The machining center can achieve three-axis or more than three-axis linkage control to ensure that the tool for complex surface machining.
In addition to the functions of linear interpolation and arc interpolation, the machining center also has a variety of functions, such as fixed cycle of machining, automatic compensation of tool radius, automatic compensation of tool length, graphic display of machining process, man-machine dialogue, automatic fault diagnosis, off-line programming and so on.
The machining center is developed from the numerical control milling machine.
The biggest difference between the machining center and the NC milling machine is that the machining center has the ability to exchange machining tools automatically. by installing tools for different purposes on the tool library, the machining tools on the spindle can be changed by the automatic tool changer in one fixture. to achieve a variety of machining functions.
Machining centers can be divided into vertical, horizontal and compound machining centers from the appearance.
The spindle of the vertical machining center is perpendicular to the worktable, which is mainly suitable for machining plate and shell workpieces, and can also be used for mold processing.
The spindle axis of the horizontal machining center is parallel to the worktable, and most of its worktables are CNC turntables controlled by servo motors. in one clamping of the workpiece, the machining of multiple machining surfaces can be realized by rotating the worktable. it is suitable for box workpiece processing.
The compound machining center mainly means that there are vertical and horizontal spindles on a machining center or the spindle can change the angle by 90 °, so the machining of five faces can be realized in one clamping of the workpiece.
