The double spindle machining center is a new product developed by European machine tool enterprises in response to the requirements of the automobile manufacturing industry. it can process two workpieces at the same time, which greatly improves the machining efficiency.
Major machine tool enterprises in Europe have developed such products in different forms, basically above 3-axis control, up to 6-axis control and 5-axis linkage.
Brief introduction.
The two-axis turn-milling machining center can process the preformed workpiece on five surfaces at the same time.
In view of this, the three linear axes on the machining center are on the workpiece at the same time, and the machining center is also equipped with a turntable which can rotate 90 °, and two transmission shafts are arranged on the turntable at the distance of 266mm.
The maximum speed of the drive shaft can reach 5000rpm, the torque is 80Nm, and the clamping force is 800Nm.
The maximum diameter of the machined workpiece is 150mm.
The spindle on one side of the workpiece rotates during turning and is positioned together with the rotary shaft in milling and drilling.
The two milling shafts are equipped with HSK- A63 supports, and the spindle is directly connected to the AC motor through the flange, so that the maximum torque can reach 140Nm and the speed can reach 10500, 12000 or 15000r/min.
When the speed is above 20000r/min, the spindle can also be used as the drive shaft.
The drive of the turntable and the positioning and propulsion of the machining center are sent out by the screw / ratchet combination device and the ball screw drive device.
When the stroke of X, Y and Z reaches 400mm, 400mm and 360mm respectively, the high speed of all three linear axes can reach the speed of 60m/min.
Because according to the principle of force, the milling shaft on one side of the tool is also responsible for tool replacement, it must be positioned upward in the direction of the tool library, so the Z axis will accelerate or decelerate at a rate of about 1.2g.
The acceleration of the X axis is 0.5g and the acceleration of the Y axis is 0.8g.
The result of the coordination of each shaft is that the time from one cutting process to another is as short as 2.4s.
