With the application of CNC lathes, car crashes are not uncommon and become a common problem in the development of CNC lathes. 

The CNC lathe is very expensive. 

In the event of a collision, the tools of the lathe will be damaged. 

In serious cases, it will reduce the accuracy of the lathe, damage part of the machine, or even scrap the lathe. 

Some workers have paid a heavy price for this. 

It has become a key problem to improve the efficiency of the lathe and reduce the failure rate of the lathe. 

The main reasons for the collision of CNC lathes are as follows: 


1.Enter the wrong tool diameter and length. 


2.Incorrect input of workpiece size and other related geometric dimensions, incorrect positioning of initial position of workpiece. 


3. The workpiece coordinate system of the CNC lathe made by the manufacturer of the small CNC lathe is set incorrectly, or the zero point of the machine tool is reset and changed during machining. 

Most machine tool collisions occur during the rapid movement of the machine tool. 

At this time, the harm caused by collision should be avoided.

Therefore, the operator should pay special attention to the CNC lathe during the initial stage of the execution of the program and when the machine tool is changed. 

At this point, once the program is edited incorrectly and the tool diameter and length are entered incorrectly, a collision is likely to occur. 

The operating procedure of the operator will also affect the operating conditions of the CNC lathe. 

Many accidents are caused by improper operation of the operator. 

The improper actions of the operator are as follows: 


(1) the program is not started at the starting position. 

When starting the program, the tool holder should be started in the original position. 

At the beginning of the work, the general operator will check it carefully. 

Failure may be the beginning of an intermediate pause. 

At this time, the operator did not pay attention to the inspection, which led to the crash. 


(2) start the machine tool at the starting position of the tool holder and the position in the middle of the program. 

This method will make the perforated tape machine unable to remember the position of the moving tape after halfway through the pause of the machine. 

After pausing, the CNC machine tool that stores the program may not press the "reset" button. 


(3) manual operation is not standard. 

When you press the quick button to release it, it is too slow. 

The manual pulse generator is used to move the tool in the wrong direction, causing the tool to hit the workpiece. 


(4) collisions may occur during automatic and manual operations because they do not pay attention to longer tools. 


(5) the value of tool compensation varies greatly. 

When correcting the size of the workpiece, the tool compensation value must be entered manually. 

It is easy to cause carelessness and the collision between the tool and the workpiece.
